tl;dr: barbaros should probably have defined a color through edit >
colors, not choose a different color set.
i know that this is an opinionated topic but...
i would be interested in knowing, why you think that this is what the
user needs.
all he needs is to go to edit > colors and create a color. name it brown
and set the correct RGB value.
if he wants to know what is the rgb code behind the html brown color he
can have a look at it online, as an example on
http://www.w3schools.com/html/html_colornames.asp (spoiler: it's A52A2A).
for most people, and barbaros seems to be in such a position, DTP is
about defining the color a graphic designer has put in the visual
identity and not about browsing through nice and shiny colors...
it's ok that scribus allows to choose among several color sets but most
people should IMO not really bother with it: the default color set *is*
the best one we currently have.
with the hint you gave him (and which barbaros accepted) he will pick a
color that looks like the one defined by the graphic designer, but he
won't (probably) be able to use that exact color.
this might or not make a difference in the printed result.
why am i asking you why are giving this suggestion? because i'd like to
figure out why is it so hard to find out how to create colors in scribus.
of course we need a "+" button close to the places where you can select
colors... but are there other things we should change to get make it
easier to use?
have a wonderful day
