Q1) Is there a way to access brown colour, like using its html
code, or

other?

Q2) Will there be any full scale of colours via Scribus? My

Hi Barbaros,

Without a document open, go to Edit > colours, then choose or
define your colour set.

tl;dr: barbaros should probably have defined a color through edit
> colors, not choose a different color set.<br>

<br>
i know that this is an opinionated topic but...<br>
<br>
i would be interested in knowing, why you think that this is what
the user needs.<br>
<br>
all he needs is to go to edit > colors and create a color. name
it brown and set the correct RGB value.<br>
<br>
if he wants to know what is the rgb code behind the html brown color
he can have a look at it online, as an example on
<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="http://www.w3schools.com/html/html_colornames.asp">http://www.w3schools.com/html/html_colornames.asp</a> (spoiler: it's
<meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html;
charset=windows-1252">
A52A2A).<br>
<br>
for most people, and barbaros seems to be in such a position, DTP is
about defining the color a graphic designer has put in the visual
identity and not about browsing through nice and shiny colors...<br>
<br>
it's ok that scribus allows to choose among several color sets but
most people should IMO not really bother with it: the default color
set *is* the best one we currently have.<br>
<br>
with the hint you gave him (and which barbaros accepted) he will
pick a color that looks like the one defined by the graphic
designer, but he won't (probably) be able to use that exact color.<br>
this might or not make a difference in the printed result.<br>
<br>
why am i asking you why are giving this suggestion? because i'd like
to figure out why is it so hard to find out how to create colors in
scribus.<br>
of course we need a "+" button close to the places where you can
select colors... but are there other things we should change to get
make it easier to use?<br>
<br>
have a wonderful day<br>
