                Hello,

I want to create some business cards with Scribus.
                Therefore I have
created a black rectangle with the size of the card on a
                A4 page, which
I will copy afterwards to fill the whole page.

I would now like to insert text frames etc. into the
                card. One of it I
would like to center on the card (but not on the page).
                Is there a way
to somehow arrange everything relative to the rectangle
                (Also to reset
the ruler, like it is done if I doubleclick on a text
                frame)?

                Thanks!
                Hans

Hans. the best way is to create your artwork to the size the cards will
be.
I have attached a template you can use, this way you can align your
artwork to the page dimensions instead of trying to do the aligning
according to objects on an A4 artboard/canvas.

My dimensions include bleed, live area and the trim to size on a 85mm x
50mm sized card, but you can resize the cards to meet your own
preferences. 85mm x 50mm ensures you get 10 cards per A4 sheet if you
want to impose this later on, though it will be better to get the
printers to do their own impositions.
