If you install the full ($$$) version of Adobe Acrobat (not the "free"
(in certain respects) Reader) a print driver is installed so you can
choose file print (from any Windows application) and select Acrobat PDF
to generate a PDF.
I think obviously you would normally want to use the Scribus direct to
PDF option to have exact positioning and formatting, but Tom has need
for a specific PDF standard which is not yet available in a stable version
(I'm sure John C will be along shortly to remind us (again) it is in
1.5.0 and that he uses it ....)
Tom is using the Acrobat Print Driver because the spec he needs is an
option in the print driver, but I wonder if all aspects of positioning
and formating survive the "printing to" process?
