[scribus] Native OS X 1.3.5.1 Tries to Connect to a Server

Hi All,
I have been playing with 1.3.5rc3 for a few weeks when I get a
chance. I've just downloaded 1.3.5.1 and had a bit of strange
behavior. When I launch 1.3.5.1, it puts up the application window
and the New Document dialog as expected. However, it then almost
immediately puts up a standard Connection Failed dialog with the
message, "The server may not exist or it is not operation at this
time. Check the server name or IP address and your network connection
and try again."
Clicking OK dismisses that dialog, but it reappears a second time.
After clicking OK again, I can click the New button on the New
Document dialog. At that time, I get the Connection Failed dialog
twice more. Then everything seems to work normally. Clicking Cancel
in the New Document dialog does not bring the Connection Failed
dialog.
Interestingly, when I go back to 1.3.5rc3, I get the same exact behavior.

My connection to the network and the Internet are working correctly
and I don't use any in-house file servers. I'm running Mac OS X
10.5.7 on a 1.83 GHz MacBook Pro. Our connection to the Internet is
DSL through a Netopia DSL router/modem. DHCP is turned on, but we use
static IP addresses for our machines.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to stop this from happening?

Best,
John
