[scribus] pdf import

 It could be because of the 72x72 dpi,  I have noticed low resolution
warnings on some images which I have also successfully ignored but
can't remember at what point they occurred

 While it comes up in the dialogue box under the heading of error, I
suspect it is more of an advisory than anything else. Don't worry
about it.

 When you viewed your A0 document in a PDF reader, what did it look
like then?

There is a sort of fundamental problem in taking a 72 dpi image and
expecting it to automagically be converted to a 300 dpi image for
printing. Anyway, what does your end result look like?
