So, I tried both of your suggestions. I rebuild the font cache with fc-cache
-fv, however after scribus -fi the font still didn't appear in terminal as
well inside scribus font menu. According to fc-cache verbose line:
fc-cache: "/usr/share/fonts/myfonts": caching, 2 fonts, 0 dirs
the font is cached (it's one of that 2), but this is actualy a matter of
course becouse the font works in another applications. Configuring the
scribus for picking up the font from local directory didn't help either.
But here is another detail: the font isn't ignored by scribus totally, it
can be choosen in story editor settings as a display font for the story
editor! It just didn't appear in the "real text" font menus. Maybe it's
really a bug. I will try some further investigation, then I will eventually
report a bug and post the result.
