New feature, lower resolution for preview. You can change that either  
in the document settings or via context menu per image.

Sadly the preview is all but perfect and if you want the same look  
for all images you need to bring them to a common resolution first.

BTW: Doesn't jpg allow exif-thumbnails? Would be nice if those could  
be used for even faster display.
