I've tested this now, it only happens when I use image downsampling when
printing to pdf. Normally I do this to make a low quality pdf for
reviewing by our editor, but this is not possible with this bug. It still
worked fine in 0.9.11.1 though.

I know I had this problem in the early beginnings of Scribus and Franz
fixed it then somehow ...
