More than one point have been raised in this thread.

How to have bullets is one point ;-)

How to have patches commited is another point.
The thread has explored a process to review patches and debug them before proposing them for merging.

Other point are wider matters i suggest to think to too :
- How could scribus dev be enhanced when core devs are not so available now ?
- Could other devs be authorised to commit ?
And hence : when would a dev be ready to become core dev with commit rights ?
What process could be used to 'certify' new potential commiters ?

BTW, there are bugs in the contributors builds, but there are also bugs in scribus stable and trunk.
If scribus wants to go toward being more stable, versus providing more features,
maybe core devs should *also* propose patches to be reviewed before commiting them ?
