[scribus] Odd font issue

On Linux, I'd expect fontconfig to manage the fonts, so indeed paths
should not be an issue. I can't tell you off the cuff what could cause
such differences, but if replacing the font by itself works there is a
subtle difference between the systems as regards fontconfig, that much
is sure.

If you still have the original file so you can reproduce the problem,
try this. Save a copy of the file as test.sla aand test.sla.orig.
Start Scribus, replace the font with itself and save the test.sla
without making any other changes. Run a diff using diff -u
test.sla.orig test.sla and see what changed.

As a side note, if the versions of Scribus differ you may see
differences as a result of that. Scribus 1.5.3 completely revamped
font handling internally, so that could cause discrepancies.

Report back here and we'll see if we can crack this nut!

Cheers,

Bert
