Yes, it's similar with Fedora. There you need to get the Adobe repo installed, so that when you run

sudo dnf -y install AdbeRdr9.5.5-1_i486linux_enu.rpm

you get all the dependencies taken care of.

You might as well save this AdbeRdr9.5.5-1_i486linux_enu.rpm file, since it's unchanged for years now.
