Some templates are useful as examples of how to
do things. But in general I don't store my own
templates. instead I open an sla file for a
similar project. Then I immediately save it as
an sla with a different name. Then I can modify
the new file as needed to fit the new situation.
I do this all the time with my invoices for
newspaper columns which must follow a precise
layout with specific fields of information. The 
central table which lists the columns written
takes the most time.
