I'm using Scribus on laptops, and I'm happy! :-)

> If your computer is shutdown incorrectly, anything can happen to files
that are open or already on disk but accessed by the system. It totally
depends on the state of the operating system. You cannot blame Scribus for
this. One reason *might* be that the autosave file was in the midst of
creation, thereby being lost, and the file you had open.. was open. Buy
yourself a small UPS and avoid the power failures and load shedding that
happens in Africa.
