Well, FOSS developers usually work for free. On their spare time. And they
do it for fun.
This of course means they will do what they think is fun and easy, the hard
tasks takes time.
Also FOSS means you get the ability to use early versions of the software.
Those versions would never have been publicly released with a commercial
software. You would still be waiting for version 1.0.
Then I find it a bit amusing with the above statement, because you first
complained about the stable version of Scribus not having support for
bullet lists (i.e. the developers had NOT added new "sexy" things to that
version). Then the next thing you try the development version and complain
that the developers have added unfinished features to the development
version...
