[scribus] AppImage doesn't work

Running Linux Mint LMDE 2

I downloaded Scribus AppImage from SourceForge, I made it executable,
Ilaunched that from the terminal with this result:

" $ ./scribus-1.5.1-linux-x86_64.AppImage
  bash: ./scribus-1.5.1-linux-x86_64.AppImage: cannot execute binary file:
Formato eseguibile non valido"

Where can it be the problem?
