One of the functions of some preliminary documentation is to display a
process that needs some help with usability. Footnotes are at least
usable at this point, so we might as well have some directions for those
who want to experiment.

As I got into this, something which also occurred to me was the feature
of footnotes frames having the ability to expand to fit content. If it
can be done for them, why can't it be done for regular text frames?
