[scribus] Best Way to Make Complex Table in Scribus

I find the easiest way to make complex tables in Scribus is to

1. Create them in Libreoffice Draw
2. Save them as a svg file
3. Import them in Scribus
4. Ungroup in Scribus using Item>Ungroup
5. Select the table and delete the outside frame

It works like a charm. So, happy to have found this out. I am using Ubuntu
12.04
