I think the main audience for the tutorial has been those who download
Scribus, start it up, get a blank document page, and then say, "Now what
do I do?" So what it does is pretty rapidly go through some various
operations involved in making a brochure, in a step-wise fashion.

If a new tutorial ends up on the wiki, it will be easy enough to add
material to suggest alternative and more efficient ways to do various
tasks, or even links to outside articles which cover something in more
depth or at an advanced level.

It's also worth checking out the Quick Start Guide in the online manual,
which shows some useful techniques, emphasizing precision and control of
what you're doing.
