I have Scribus running on 2 systems, Vista x86 desktop with (I think, I am not at 
home now) 2 G ram and my win 7 x64 notebook with 4 G. I don't see any significant 
difference when using Scribus, But I only use Scribus for a newsletter, 8-14 letter 
size pages.
