since you're not getting a reply, i think that if you want the issue to
be solved you should post it as one (or more) bugs in the bug tracker.

currently, the developers are very busy at the libre graphics meeting
and -- since nobody has answered, there is a big risk of this issues
being lost if it's not filled in http://bugs.scribus.net
