You might want to review the settings from here:
http://wiki.scribus.net/canvas/Creating_a_dmg to see if those kind of
things work for you.

You can install scribus135-aqua to get 1.4.0 rc3 via fink

Still.. from macports, you typically wouldn't need those settings
manually set.. so there must be something up with your config to need
them forced... perhaps because of both fink and macports being
installed.. or something else.
