[scribus] Embedded fonts in pdfs?

The final answer might come from simply looking at the file with a text 
editor. I don't pretend to be an expert, but you should see sections 
with plain-text labels for the fonts if they're embedded.

The other way to give a PDF what it needs is to outline the font, so 
perhaps this is what is happening.
