There really isn't such a thing as a "full colour range". There are 
different palettes.

You can switch palettes only by opening Edit > Colours with no document 
open.

As a.l.e says you can add colours as you wish.
You can also import colors from another document with the Edit Colours 
dialog -- this may be the most efficient way to add a number of colours 
at once. Making empty documents with different palettes might help you 
do this.

Keep in mind that several of the palettes you might use are spot colours 
from some particular ink manufacturer, and therefore may not be what you 
want at all.
