Never mind, I finally found them. They are all .pfa files
in /usr/share/fonts/default/ghostscript/.
The only question is why they suddenly appear in Scribus. They never
used to. And no other application sees them.
They are also singularly hideous.
I went into Preferences > Fonts and unchecked them all so Scribus will
not use them.
