Hi Bob,

Easiest is to use the Yast Package Manager, but probably the
standard repositories only offer Scribus 1.3.3.14

If you want some of the more recent features you can either
add the Mrdocs repository in Yast:
<http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/mrdocs/openSUSE_11.3/>
(replace 'openSUSE_11.3' vith your version)
or install Scribus directly from
<http://software.opensuse.org/search?>, look for 'Scribus',
choose version, use "One click install" (during install you
get the option to subscribe to the repo).
Yast does all the pulling of dependencies, it might add
Ghostscript for Scribus, not sure...

Good luck
