That is not his problem.

What he means is that if he has text frames aligned alternating left
and right, the ones after the inserted page will be aligned wrong if
he inserts a page in the middle of the document.


For example:

Create a new document, facing layout, inner margin 40 mm, outer margin 10 mm.

Insert a second page.

Create a text frame between the margins on each page. The frame on
page 1 will be "right aligned" on the page and the one on page 2 will
be "left aligned". Insert a third page before page 2. Now page 1 still
has the frame "right aligned" but on page 3 it is still "left aligned"
so it is way out in the inner margin.
