I don't think it's a matter of enforcing english.

I don't ask many questions on this list (have asked maybe a handful
over the years). But I have learner A LOT by reading responses to
other peoples questions, and by that I have also been able to help
others. But if an answer is in a language I don't understand I can't
benefit from it, and then I can't help someone else with it.

Remember that a post to a list like this is not only directed to
person whose question you are answering, but all subscribers.

So while I think it is good that the list is multilingual, the list
might lose it's purpose if languages are mixed to much. If we get to
the point where I don't understand more than half of the posts to the
list I think I'm going to look for another forum for support.
