Something I don't see in these instructions is a mention of fonts. If 
you can, you should embed fonts. If this printer is geared toward these 
commercial DTP apps, you want to make sure they have your fonts.

As a.l.e says, you should be able to find all these settings in the 
Scribus PDF export dialog.
