For those of us that don't have the time / patience / knowledge or 
manufacturer support required, I agree this would be very nice and a 
very simple to use alternative to CMS. Though if we are using pictures 
from a range of sources, they may require manual adjustment to bring 
them to some uncalibrated 'standard' that our eye thinks we are happy with.

I think it's a bit like audio amplifiers. The purists will never want 
tone controls, but for those of us with speakers if uncertain pedigree, 
they are still bloody useful !
