[scribus] Image import, wrong original PPI value

Hi there,

I am testing my workflow with images, to find the most efficient path to
produce a detailed, but small, pdf.

So, I have the same image saved both as tiff and jpeg, it's 1000 pixel
wide, and I want it to print at 200 dpi.
For our product catalog it should be enough.

First the TIFF:

New A4 document, Insert image frame, ctrl-D to get the image, but the
preview says 72 dpi.
I go on and click OK.
"The tiff may be corrupted: missing resolution tags."
If I click OK and go on, the image is loaded, although with 72 dpi
resolution.

Now with the JPEG.

The preview is still 72 dpi.
No errors when loaded, but as you will expect, the image has the wrong
dimension again.

It this a bug? or am I doing something wrong?

BTW, the tiff produced a pdf sized 89K, the jpeg another of 54K.

thanks for your time,
-Gian
