I can send it directly to the printer, using my HP DeskJet 930C, and that turns out OK, but I need a good pdf for the printer. Is there a troubleshooting ladder I can use to fix this issue? The pdf I generate drops whole sections of pictures and text. GSView 4.9 reports post scrip errors, but I can't tell what they are and how to fix them. Here's the text:

Given the "Error: /rangecheck in --.discardtransparencygroup--" bit, are
you doing something with transparency that can't be represented in the
type of PDF file you are generating ?
