Hmm. In my Linux 18.104.22.168svn, and my Windows 22.214.171.124, it's just like I
described (what you're calling brown, I'm calling dark red).
Perhaps you're only locking size? That seems to be a different behavior,
more like what you describe. Maybe you could just lock everything?
