A Ubuntu Repository Release! So yeh I know the first thing you'll need
is me to test on a current version from svn.

Yip happy to provide all that. My problem is that I'm not 100% sure
what triggers the crash. Its never exactly the same operation. Just
around the same operation - going somewhere like this -
* Copy article from OOo
* Open article in Story Editor
* Select previous text (I'm using an old document as a template)
* Delete old text
* Paste new text

Someplace in the last 4 steps regularly produces a crash - but not
always the same step and occasionally I get to close Story Ed and it
never crashes or crashes 2 minutes later... So uploading a file and
saying please reproduce could be tricky!

Was hoping I could start scribus with something like scribus-ny
--logfile and it would log actions to actually show what happened?
