[scribus] Using SVG in image frames - resolution problem

Scribus can import an SVG natively: File > Import > SVG. As long as the 
SVG features are supported, it should work well. You can also edit the 
SVG in Scribus.
If you have something that Scribus can't import, I would suggest using 
Inkscape to export as a large, hi-res bitmap (PNG).
