[Scribus] Preferences lost on restart

Hello Craig,

Scribus does close properly; I didn't go through your system checks but 
have tested the preference issue on two different fresh installs of 
Ubuntu Feisty. Could it be related to the distribution (we're having 
quite some other strange inconsistencies with fonts and styles here 
unfortunately) than?
