I know Scribus has a script folder and you can execute scripts from there, but 
I'm not sure you can execute them from the story editor. I do not see an 
option for it in the store editor. You could probably write it to execute 
from the main page and check whole document. One of the programs would have 
to answer this question. The two scripts that came with install are PY 
scripts.
