As long as you keep the word spacing / glyph extension values to their
1.3.4 / 1.3.5 should work exactly as 1.3.3.x. If you find a difference,
please file
a bug.

There will be a new paragraph layouter in 1.3.6 or 1.3.7, and then there
will be
a setting for the compatibility layout. Old documents will use the old
new textframes will use the new one by default.
