[Scribus] Wich image format should I use?

This is exactly where I am at with using the Blastwave.org packages for 
Solaris/OpenSolaris. It seems that Scribus was compiled without TIFF 
support, so even though I have installed the libtiff bits, Scribus can't 
use them. I'm going to have to take all of my TIFF images I've used in 
my SUSE-based, self-compiled Scribus and convert them. (I've played 
around a bit, and don't want to revisit the agony of compiling my own Qt 
installation to compile Scribus from source. I just don't remember what 
I had to do to get this going for Scribus to see that Qt was compiled 
with thread support. Maybe some other time...)
