[Scribus] beginner question - importing

It might just be that your image frame is so small it doesn't let you 
see the pic. Make sure your select this frame then go to the Properties 
palette and check the XYZ values. Enlarge your frame to the desired 
value and you'll see your image. You can also grab a handle from the 
image frame with the mouse to achieve the same.
