[Scribus] Em dash macro?

Using linux with a Compose key assigned you
usually get: en dash with <Compose>+<-><n> or <Compose>+<-><-> and em dash
with <Compose>+<-><m> or <Compose>+<-><-><->

Unfortunately it does not work inside Scribus, but in kate, gedit
and OpenOffice.org.
I guess this is bug 1908, right?
