[Scribus] inserting a frame into already linked frames

I think the key may be in identifying the last of the linked frames, 
which I was able to add a linked frame to. You cannot add to anything 
upstream from the last one.
But there is some help (at least with 1.3.3.2):
If you click on any frame /other/ than the last one, the link frames 
icon in the toolbar will remain greyed out. When you do select that last 
one, the link frames icon will no longer be greyed out, and you will 
also see the arrows showing the linking order. Do not start by selecting 
the frame you want to link to, it has to be the one you are linking from.
