[Scribus] Aqua version: can't see new documents

I am also experiencing this issue and have filed a bug report about it.
Creating a new document or opening a saved file yields the same result:
no top-level window displaying the document. Ancillary windows such as
the help viewer and the preferences window display fine.

| No, but another user reported the same issue.
| What OS version are you running? Which locale?
| Do you have any other Qt programs installed?
