Assuming fontconfig works on OSX this should cover you there, esp since we 
will remove the X font finding soon enough.

Check the ~/.scribus/prefs13.xml file for the palette placement area.
PropertiesPalette will be the identifier and reset those values as 
appropriate. The palettes are moved to the saved locations when reshown and 
you previous version might have confused things.

If you have used the recent patches to remove gdk, then this might be a result 
of this removal. Craig Ringer has done some preliminary Makefile.am work to 
test auto building on osx without the gdk stuff, and in the future to allow 
choice of cairo or libart on build.
