Maybe when ESP finnaly finishes it's Ghostscript version it will be more 
common to see GS 8.x in many distributions

Making GNU GS 8.x as much printer compatible as ESP GS 7.x is is a lot o work 
(and when I say "a lot" I really mean a lot :| )
