The trick shrinking to Web PDF's, while retaining text selection is to use 
Type 1 fonts. They tend nake smaller when PDFs embedded. The other is to 
limit the number of fonts used. This might not be possible.

As "fixing" this, it is planned for 1.3.x, but no definite date.
