Expecting it to be, especially since the newer ghostscripts support spots muhc 
better now.

well.. then its 0.0 to 1.0 :=)

No.. currently the 1.2.x format is as it is. The 1.3 changes that have been 
done so far require changes to the format and currently 1.3.0 cannot save at 
all.

Sounds very interesting, be sure to keep up with the list and when we start to 
make advances on the file format we will need to keep in touch.
