Thanks for the tip, apparently my printer agrees with this approach.
However, I still have these non-appearing color management problem. As my
setup does not seem to detect the profiles I provided (I correctly set the
path in the Preferences screen), I can't get access to the PDF/X-3 settings
and that's a shame because it looks like my printer only accept this.
Has anyone experienced such issue before?
I describe the problem again : I have compiled Scribus 1.1.2 with a 1.11 lcms
library, using a Slackware 9.1 system. Thanks to the patch provided on this
list, the compilation run properly. Scribus runs perfectly except that no
colour management options appear in Preferences, even if I put .icm profiles
the /usr/local/lib/scribus/profiles directory and set this path as proper one
in the Preferences.
Unfortunately, there does not seem to be a verbose mode for Scribus on the
command line to debug possible problem with my setup.

Any info/tip will be welcome.

Best regards,

	Richard
