That might be true, but 1.5.7 (or, I hope, 1.6.0!) will come well before
Ubuntu 20.04 LTS is gone, and by then I'm sure I'll get enough requests
to backport that.
Just so you know, I did receive quite a few questions asking why 1.5.5
wasn't available in *16.04*.... (the reason was similar, the required Qt
wasn't available).
Guess for now I'll just tell them to use a newer ubuntu release if they
wish to run the SVN trunk.
