[scribus-dev] Expose Get Vector File in the Python API

Dear all,

I would like to use the Python program Textext to enter LaTeX equations in
Scribus, just like I do in Inkscape. The only thing that is needed for it
to work is to be able to import the generated equation as a vector file. I
looked in the source code (master branch) and this functionality does not
seem to be exposed in the Python API.

If you could tell me how to do it, I would be happy to experiment with it.
If it is complicated, I hope that it gets included in some 1.5.x release.

I am aware of the render frame tool that enables including LaTeX fragments,
but it is sub-optimal for the purpose of inserting LaTeX equations. I
prefer to use a tool that has been developed for that purpose for circa 10
years.

Best regards,
Marduk
